Steve Turner

Steve Turner is a talented musician , wonderful singer and a great performer.

A pioneer of the English concertina, his innovative song accompaniments stretch the boundaries of traditional forms, with one of the best voices in the business. He is a multi-instrumentalist, playing the cittern, mandolin and banjo.

After a career break as a violin maker, he returned as a performer in 2005. Since then he has released two albums, been nominated for BBC Folk Awards, and established himself as a major artiste on the folk scene.
