Welcome to Chesham Folk Club
Every Monday at the White Hill Centre, Chesham
CORONAVIRUS AND CHESHAM FOLK CLUB
In line with government advice Chesham Folk Club is suspending activities for the next few weeks in the interests of the health and safety of our members and guests.
The scheduled events on 23rd and 30th March, 6th and 20th April are all CANCELLED. We will seek to reschedule guest artistes to next year.
The Club Committee will review the situation over Easter and make a further announcement by 20th April. Please keep an eye on our web site, newsletter and FaceBook page for the current position.
The club has been in existence since 1964 and in our current home since 1989..
We actively seek to provide quality entertainment at a sensible price. Each month we normally have a main ‘Guest’ Night’, a ‘Feature’ Night’ giving opportunities to local or emerging artists, interspersed with Singers Nights.
The Club meets in a classic first floor school room, with superb acoustics, and with no encroaching bar noise. There is disabled access via a platform lift. The Centre has a well-stocked bar, normally with a real ale on tap, coffee and an area where you can relax and have a chat. Drinks can be brought up to the Club Room. There is safe parking on site – see ‘About the Club’ for further details.
Please use this website to learn more about the club, our upcoming guests, and what we believe in.
